This entire place was incredibly confusing and overwhelming. It was too full of people who dressed strangely and things that were just odd. She supposed she should be scared but, beyond the people who found her in the woods, nothing seemed too interested in her. She wasn't sure she felt safe but at least she wasn't worried about being captured or killed.
She would feel better once she was with Geralt. She knew that. Seeing him, for that brief moment, in the woods had been a welcomed relief. She still didn't know how she'd recognized him but something within her had calmed at the sight of him and she rushed towards him instead of away... only to find herself in a completely different set of woods with no Geralt. She might have been afraid of the people who came to collect her, who walked her through a portal and into a building but the confusion had, momentarily, wiped any thought of running completely from her mind.
They hadn't tried to keep her. Maybe that made things better somehow. The people who'd brought her in out of the woods had no intention of holding her anywhere. They'd asked a few questions and shown her how to use some odd device they gave her before sending her off. She hadn't been sure how to use it still. The voice post was something of an accident but some good had come of it. She'd made a friend who came to sit with her and had stayed until they knew Geralt was on his way. She'd felt safer with Stevie.
The moment she looked up and saw him, however, all thoughts of her new friend and staying with the older girl left her mind. She didn't stay where she was as he'd asked but moved to meet him halfway, throwing her arms around him and hugging him tightly once she was close enough. Part of her was afraid he'd disappear again but it settled quickly. She had finally found him. She was safe. Cirilla nodded in response to his questions. She was safe because she was, finally, where she needed to be even in this strange place and she was unhurt. "Yes..." She said before tentatively taking a step back. He was still something of a stranger to her. "I'm safe. Unhurt."
