WHO: Geralt, Ciri WHERE: By the Morningside, at least to start. WHEN: Shortly after Ciri's Arrival. WHAT: First meeting in Vallo. NOTES OR WARNINGS: Probably none save discussion of canon-typical violence/death that happened maybe.
Geralt was thrilled that Ciri was where he could see her, and protect her again, even if it was in a place he didn't understand. But he'd barely known her before he ended up here. He had no idea what to do with a girl who'd lost everything, or how to give her everything she might need, even if he felt compelled on every level to do just that, and to try to make up for all of what she'd lost already in her short life.
So he was nervous. But eager to see her nonetheless, and verify she was safe and healthy.
He made his way to the housing building - which was in the city that Geralt avoided like a plague if he could. It was just ... too full of things that made no sense to him. But he didn't think twice before heading that way now. And they'd be staying there, so Geralt would need to adjust. They had the water that came from the pipes warm there too, he assumed. So Geralt would live with it.
He slowed when he came in sight of the complex, searching for any sign of threat and for Ciri. He only saw her and walked to her. "Cirilla," he said, uncertain but relieved. "You're safe? Unhurt?"
