Angela was having a very strange day and there was a part of her that wondered if she had completely lost her mind. However she doubted that her brain could conjure up such a convincing world and she was left having to find a way to come to terms with her new place in this bewildering world. She decided the best she could do was to not try too hard to swim against the current as it were and let things happen. It all seemed very far outside her control and she just had to try to make the best of her new situation and try not to go mad in the process.
She was sitting on her bed with her tablet in hand when she heard a knock. Angela had a sneaking suspicion she knew who it might be and when she opened the door she felt a wave of relief wash over her. Genji was one of her closest and most trusted friends. Her relationship with him was easy. She fixed him. That was what she did, and she was good at it.
A smile spread out across Angela's facial features, her eyes lighting up. "Genji!" she exclaimed. She hesitated for a moment, not sure if she should bring him into a hug or not. Touch could be a sensitive subject, so instead she opened the door wider and moved aside to allow Genji to enter.
"I thought I might see you today," she admitted and then took a moment to take in Genji's appearance. The clothes were new, something she wasn't used to seeing him in. She couldn't tell from looking at him just how well he was getting along with his cybernetics as his hood was pulled up over his features and she had to fight everything in her not to ask how he was feeling.
