WHAT: A lesson in arcade games WHERE: The Boardwalk WHEN: Friday April 2nd WARNINGS: N/A STATUS:In Progress
Another set of new experiences for the ever curiousity killed the cat advocate, Peter walked along the top of The Boardwalk's edge, peeping over the water. Everyone else behind him was slow. He wasn't going fast on purpose he just wanted some quiet. Speeding up faster than sound was a great way to get there and plan out his...teaching Eloise how to play the video games.
He did not expect someone to actually contact him with a 'hey let's do something'. That, did not happen to Peter. But maybe he was always moving to fast or so caught up in his own BS to realize. ANYWAYS. The fact that Eloise was from the 1800's was very exciting. Here he was, all concerned about never aging and being fifty...something? And she was older than him! A period of time he'd have just as many questions for.
There was one small issue that Peter was stuck on. A think he'd dealt with most of his life, but not quite to the extent of the others. Was him being a mutant going to matter? He had said so in his 'tag' profile but who knows what Eloise thought that meant. It made Peter think about things he hadn't before like different kinds of rejection in areas he hadn't trifled with. But oh well, that's what the point was. He let himself fall back into the normal pace of time, everyone else catching up with him as he hopped off of the railing and leaned back against the Galaga at the entrance to the arcade to wait for Eloise.
