Joint Op and the "Shepard Maneuver"
Joint op

The Joint Op was a joint wet operation, comprising a team of three marines, three army and two private contractors. Though most of the mission remains classified, what is known is the eight crammed into a humvee and disappeared into the desert. They accomplished their mission and returned. Commander Shepard drew straws and drove the vehicle to their target and eliminated it. The Shepard Maneuver was coined by the rest of her joint unit in honor of her driving.

The Shepard Maneuver.

Wherein the best path to any destination is the straightest path possible, including over boulders, cliffs, rocks, rivers, ravines, small dogs and mountains.
