It's rough when your dreams give you some insights into some actions that may need to happen in your life here. My mother has been suffering from memory loss in the dreams and I made the decision that it was time to put her into a home so she could have people watching over her all the time because I'm not able to be around 24/7. It was a tough one, but I think it was ultimately for the best.

I did finally get a gift from the dreams though. I asked Guerin to fix up the sign for my bar in the dreams and a smaller version (thank goodness) showed up here.

It's weird to send you a thanks for something that happened in the dreams, but thank you for letting me cry on your shoulder and fixing the sign. You've definitely got a soft core inside that grumpy exterior.

IDK crying can be pretty cathartic, especially if it happens from laughing.

Whenever there's nothing out there that could make us randomly kiss. So I'm guessing anytime around Valentines Day is also out.

I've found that the dreams can definitely be like that, or have parallels you wish they didn't.

That's never an easy decision to make though, even if it is the one that's ultimately for the best.

Yep and that is such a hard day. No one wants to "fail" their family members, but I'm doing my best to not think of it as failing. Just giving someone their best chance.

That's definitely how it can feel. Like thanks, I didn't need that reminder in my dreams as well, or in this case, this sign of what I need to do.

It really. And it's not failing, not in the slightest. It's important to know when we would be doing more harm than good, even if it hurts. They're the ones that matter in this situation.

It really is. And it usually takes seeing someone thrive is what it takes because we always feel we need to be the one to do it. Logic versus emotions and all.
