Why is it snowing? It's June. It shouldn't be snowing.

It shouldn't be. But it is.

Are you doing okay? Is the motel okay? How's the heating there?

I sorta feel like you should be somewhere with actual heating and a back-up power source for this.

The motel's fine. It's cold, but I've had worse. Got a roof over my head and blankets, so I'm okay. Is your apartment holding up alright?

Pretty sure if the power goes down because of the snow it might go down all over? Not just because the wires in this place are older than God.

Just because you've had worse doesn't mean you should just deal! My apartment is doing great; so much so that I think we should brave matters and get you over here to wait it out! I have central heating and lots of food!

Hard to tell, it might hit a grid or just knock out some power lines.

Are you sure? The food places near me have kind of shut so I'd be stuck on vending machine food until this is all done. Do you mind if I come over? I can grab an uber (hopefully) once I've walked far enough into a well populated area.

I'm practically insisting! And not just because now I know you might not be able to eat if the vending machine freezes but also because I really don't wanna go through this alone either.

Are you sure you can get an uber? Or walk out to get one. I can totally come and get you.

I don't want you driving in this weather either, I should be fine. Promise.

Give me a few hours and I'll call you when I'm outside so you can come let me in?

Okay, but promise me you'll call if you can't get here or something happens and then we'll figure something out.

I'll get this place warmed up, you want some real food? I can make some nice pasta, I'm awesome at pasta. Or some soup?

Yeah, I’ll call if there are any problems, I promise.

Sounds good- I could do with some carbs! Especially after a walk in the cold :/
