I forgot how much I enjoy work. Definitely not the travel aspect, or even the long days, but just doing something. I missed it for sure.

And I've just found out how much Scooby hates when I work. My living room really suffered my missing our afternoon walk. Whoops?

At least I don't have anything overly valuable.

I did a little bit of that, it was fun! But my day job is architecture.

It is. I used to do it more seriously, you know. Runways, fashion events, travel. But it's just really exhausting after a while. And, as cruel as it is, I'm aging out of the runaway stuff anyway. So retiring seemed like the perfect solution. Except I've never not had anything to do, you know?

Do you mean, hobby wise? I've started learning how to surf, and with Scooby there's a lot of hiking and walking. And my friend is opening a stable so I'll be able to ride again soon.

Luckily I don't really need to worry about that side of things, working and all. It's just about staying busy.
