I forgot how much I enjoy work. Definitely not the travel aspect, or even the long days, but just doing something. I missed it for sure.

And I've just found out how much Scooby hates when I work. My living room really suffered my missing our afternoon walk. Whoops?

At least I don't have anything overly valuable.

I am assuming Scooby is a dog or a cat?

Yeah, he's a Great Dane. A very energetic and demanding Great Dane

Oh, wow, that is a large dog.

It makes me feel lucky that I bring mine to work with me.

I hope he didn't destroy anything important. Nora got her paws on some personal paperwork last week and made sure it was ready for recycling...

He's a very big boy!

It's my first time back at work since Scooby came to stay with me, so I guess lesson learned?

Oh yeah, they can be so bad for that, right. My trick is having treats that Scooby likes more than wrecking my stuff.

What's your job? I guess you can't take him with you?

I'm trying puzzle feeders and treat dispensers for the time they're at home and I'm not.

I'm a model, I used to runway, which meant a lot of travel, but I've sort of settled in a location now. Much easier to keep an animal that way. But he's still a bit big to take to most jobs.

The treat dispensers have been a real godsend for us. Scooby's a bit of a snack nut, so we go through a lot of food.

That must keep you very busy.

At least you have the kind of job where you can afford to keep him fed.

Typically, it does. I took a bit of a break.

Thank goodness. I'm honestly not sure how Shaggy did it, he was Scooby's owner, he's over in Australia, which is why Scooby is with me.

But the travel element must be quite nice?

That's... an interesting name.

Oh, it really was, at the time. I did it straight out of high school, so I was 18 and travelling the world, going to big cities, wearing the most gorgeous clothes. I honestly would not swap it for the world.

Oh, his name is Norville. But he uses Shaggy, because, well. He always looks so unkempt.

That's quite the life! I'm glad it worked out for you.

I can see why he'd use a nickname.

It was very interesting, and exciting. But definitely not a long term many decades kind of lifestyle.

Absolutely, even teachers at high school just called him Shaggy.

It'd be exhausting, I bet.

That's dedication to a nickname.

Jetlag and I became very close friends.

I think teachers got sick of the sniggers from saying 'Norville' and getting no response.
