Well, I can safely say that this Thanksgiving, I'll be thankful for two things -my mother has decided not to visit with her toy-boy again. Although I'm decidedly worried this means she'll be engaged to him by Christmas and I'll have to shove my head in an oven.

The biggest thing to be thankful for is the dreams moving on. Almost a month steady of torture dreams and I'm rather grateful they've finally decided to skip to the next part. I shall not miss those headaches.

For anyone who ever wondered where I get my impulsive nature the answer is clearly Maman. Who decided today that she wants to cook Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or be horribly disappointed in Aslan. Regulus was checking to see if the turkey had fully thawed for tomorrow when Aslan attempted to steal it from him. He's normally a very well behaved dog but I guess his instincts got the better of his training when he saw the bird on the counter. He grabbed a hold of the loop on the bag and tried to drag it out of the kitchen before either of us could stop him. Apparently forgetting that he lives with an idiot cat who trips himself up let alone his dog brothers.

Apollo got under Aslan's paws and the two of them went tumbling down the hall with the turkey. It was pretty funny to watch even though I did have to scold him. Which I hate doing almost as much as I hate scolding Laurel and Madison.
