Status: Pretty much complete at this point.
There was food, music and entertainment. Games for kids and adults, and plenty of room to run around and go a little crazy. But at eight o'clock, as the sun set on the horizon, the real reason to come began.
Gandalf's firework show was nearly sixty minutes of multi-colored extravaganza, set to primarily 60s anti-war songs and 70s funk. But the finale was fifteen minutes long and set to soaring, inspirational instrumental music, and featured several massive firework dragons flying over the crowds before clashing with each other and exploding into a rainbow of color and sound. And then the music climaxed, and one great dragon to end all great dragons took flight.
It spun high into the air, and with a roar it's wings collapsed into a diving position and it careened down towards the crowd. At the last possible moment it shot back into the air.
The sound was deafening, three straight minutes of lights and sparks and showers of color.
When it stopped, there was just the smoke drifting in the air, and a man humming an
ancient tune(ooc: going out and don't know when I'll be back at a computer, so wanted to get this posted. Feel free to respond to this or to make your own logs of being there!)
