She watched him take off his shirt, then tilted her head at his statement. He didn't seem mad, but it was entirely possible she wasn't the best judge.
She didn't flinch as he moved toward her, not worried about him hurting her. Sure, he could be a serial killer, but at least he wasn't taking her back to the hospital. Part of her knew that wasn't the most logical way to think, but her priorities were firm. And besides, she didn't really think he was a serial killer. He was too nice, and he made her feel safe. She gave him a small, out-of-practice smile as he cleaned her up.
The scratch on her forehead wasn't bad. It was a shallow cut, and it had almost stopped bleeding completely by now.
