Hannibal has that problem far too often, himself. Which is why he has these initial meetings, to screen for unpleasant patients; that way he can simply say he doesn't think they'd be a good fit, recommend them to a colleague, and have done with them.
But Will he likes. There's a wry sort of sense of humour about him that Hannibal appreciates.
