Katniss wasn't going to admit it, not in a million years, but it sort of felt nice to have someone taking care of her. It was usually her doing that, mainly for Prim and sometimes her mom. She hadn't really had a lot of experience with someone else making sure she was okay.
"Of course I feel fine. I'm not sick," she grumbled. She shook her head when he mentioned Prim. "No, she'll only worry." Prim would be asleep by now; she was used to Katniss getting in late from work. If Peeta went and got her now, there would be too many questions she didn't want to answer.
