His jaw hadn't dropped, but there were other signs of recognition that to Ben's trained eye were plain as day. He'd been in the same room with Dr. Smith more than once; however, this was their first official meeting. And since Ben was basically the poster boy for the movement against everything Dr. Smith stood for, this might very well also be the first and last time they would ever shake hands.
They entered the office and the door was closed. Ben wasn't one to beat around the bush, so he turned to face Dr. Smith directly. "I suppose we should get something out of the way first. Yes, I am Dr. Benjamin Linus. And, if word of this gets out... well, let's just say it can't." He cleared his throat. "I'm sure you understand."
