Who: Cosette and Jerry When: Sunday night Where: outside UCLA's library What: A diligent student meets a creature of the night. Rating: TBD, but warnings for Jerry being a creeper. Status: in-progress
Having recently been hired on a road construction project near campus, Jerry had decided to take a walk to view the area he'd be working in. (Doing repairs at night would inconvenience the students less, they'd said. It seemed like the perfect starter job to Jerry.) His walk caused him to pass by the school's library... where he'd spotted the girl.
Jerry didn't have many memories of his past and he still had blackout periods at times, but one thing that he did know was that he enjoyed blondes. He always had. Nearly to distraction, at times. The look of them. The smell. The way they carried themselves. Whether they defined or broke the stereotype, he found them terribly eye-catching in all shapes and sizes.
On this particular night, the young woman who caught Jerry's eye seemed to exude innocence. Something about her mannerisms made it cling to her like perfume. He watched from a cautious distance at first. He was very good at making people think he wasn't watching them, and until she reached the sidewalk and continued on, it wasn't like they were alone. There were a few other students mingling near the building's doors, no doubt chatting about whatever homework they'd put off until late night on the last night of the weekend. Jerry watched the blonde girl surreptitiously, half-hidden in shadow.
