Sometime during his observation a small, thoughtful smile appeared. It grew in size the longer Robb knelt before the glass, completely captivated by three lions in natural repose. He couldn't wait to phone up Jon and tell him all about his day!
"I think she will." Smile still fixed firmly in place, Robb gave the big cats one last look before slowly adding, "At least I hope she will."
Nurture could only be a substitute for so long, and while Robb had done all he physically could during those formative months - teaching Weir what only a mother could had been out of his scope - nature was going to have to step in at some point. Only time would tell if her instincts would take hold and guide Weir during pregnancy and beyond.
"I'm still willing to bring her in for show and tell for the wee ones," he said, getting up to wander over to where Abby stood. "Don't know how often you might want me or how much I can commit, though..."
Delays wouldn't last forever at the studio, and once filming started up again he really couldn't say one way or the other if he could even fit a few hours in on the weekend.
