The blatant shift in speech tickled Abby's rarely accessed astonishment. Typically, she found the human race to be a rather boring species. They were either too stuck up, self centered, depressed or worst yet arrogant for her liking and rarely worth the time it took to learn a stranger's name. Not that Abby disliked people - she liked the interesting one's very much - nor thought herself above all others just that her fuse for stupid was shorter than she and very prone to catching flame.
The care which Robb took adjusting himself to help her without any prompting, however, was worthy of private note and she nodded as he spoke, acknowledging him with full attention.
A little energetic and loud, perhaps, but certainly not boring.
'And if I recall from your paperwork that's where Weir is from?' Abby knew, of course, having read the files front to back before passing them along to Chris Austria at the San Francisco Zoo but it was good lead around to matters at hand.
Got to keep this one focused or I'll be here all day.
