Jean shrugged slightly, for a moment the circles under her eyes a little darker than before. A trick of the light, surely.
“It could be better. I admit, I haven’t been sleeping as well as I’d like. I’ve been having really vivid dreams, but I’m just accounting it to the fever and working far too hard. Emma’s always teased me it would catch up with me.”
She gave a smile, but it was just a touch more brittle than usual. The dreams bothered her more than she’d admit even to herself.
“But it sounds like everyone’s having these dreams. I’m starting to wonder if this isn’t some sort of mass hysteria or something.”
