Tara giggled as Jack tried to get a hold of Janet, watching the encounter with absolute enjoyment. “But squirrels are so exciting!” she exclaimed, placing her hands on her hips as she watched the exchange. Animals were fun. If she had the time for it, she’d have a ton of her own to take on walks.

Turning to the dog, Tara dropped to a kneel and began ruffling her fur. “You’re a good girl, Janet! Don’t worry, I understand, squirrels are so fun! Each one is different and fun and new.” And she was having a conversation with a dog. Just a typical day for Tara Smith.
