"It's stupid," Wanda admitted. "I can go anytime." But that didn't keep her from feeling cornered. Maybe that would change with her twin around - part of the discomfort came from wanting to stay put, wanting to be less of a moving target. But now she'd been found, and that was moot. She shrugged, as if to dismiss the train of thought, and circled back to cars and driving.
"Backroads. Or parking lots. I won't screw it up too bad, but I'd hate to hurt your car."
And there was a smile, wry and lopsided. "Especially if it's nice."
