Pepper took the comfy chair thankfully and crossed her legs at the ankle. She was still in her work clothes from the day before, but she had removed her blazer because of the blood. Her skirt was covered in the stuff though. There wasn't much she could do about that. She didn't exactly have anyone to call. Maybe she should hire a personal assistant.
"Sure," Pepper said and took in a deep breath as she recalled the evening. "We were talking about those dreams that everyone has been having as we exited the restaurant. He said something sweet, which is so uncharacteristic of him and he took my hand. We just walked in silence at that point. We were headed toward the ocean since we were so close to it. Then a man dressed all in black came out of no-where and pointed a gun at us. Mr. Stark stepped in front of me, I cowered behind him. I was kind of in a panic at that point. I didn't know what to do or say. The gunman didn't say anything until Mr. Stark asked him what he wanted. No... Mr. Stark asked if he could help the man and the man said "I don't know. Can you?" Mr. Stark informed the gunman that he had no cash, the man seemed frustrated by this, shot his gun and fled."
