Pepper wasn't exactly the sort to get involved in family politics, especially when that family was as rich as the Frosts. They donated to CHOC as much as she donated to them. It was a fair trade and she didn't exactly want to ruin that relationship, but there was nothing to be done for it. Tony had her hand and wasn't about to let go. This would be all over the tabloids in the morning and maybe not the one Tony wanted printed.
Still, Pepper did feel a bit of pity for the woman that she now recognized as one of the Frost daughters. Winston was a man of great influence. She would be blacklisted for sure. So, Pepper tentatively cleared her throat and raised her eyebrows.
"Why don't we all step outside, away from prying eyes?" she offered, ever the sensible one.
