Tara grinned brightly at Gwen, quite ignoring John's comment for the moment. He wasn't being helpful at helping her get her things put away. "I'm very well, thanks!" she told the girl, setting her things down on the counter once it had been cleared a bit. She might have gone a bit crazy on the things she'd brought -- she'd even brought some of those frozen chicken wings, and an hors d'oeuvres platter. She made sure to put those promptly in the freezer so they could make them for the actual game.
"It's okay," Tara teased Gwen a bit about the crisps thing, winking at her. "I'll understand both. I'm basically half-British as it is." Once the things she'd brought that needed to be refrigerated or frozen were put away, she came over and gave Gwen a hug as a proper hello. "Thanks for hosting this!"
And then she made her way over to John, who she gave a big squeeze of a hug. "Have you never had crisps before, then?" Teasing.
