Tony laughed, reaching out to put a hand over hers on the table.
"I promise, Pepper. I'll never ask you to put the reactor in my chest. Like I said, it... I don't know. The whole shrapnel thing. That's not what's wrong with it anyway..." His last sentence was almost to himself, but he couldn't think of any reason to hide that from her. Most people didn't know about the heart issue, but for some reason it didn't bug him that she would.
