"Oh," Pepper replied, relieved that Tony wasn't going to just get rid of the Irvine Company. Maybe she was a little too hard on the man. He'd done nothing but surprise her lately. Her opinion of him may have been starting to change. She let the subject drop though, happy with Tony's answer.
"Tony," Pepper said, her voice low. She reached out to pat Tony's hand and say this next bit as nicely as possible. "I already think you're crazy." She paused. "But in a good way?" she added.
