Pepper had been a little more than reluctant to date Tony, but he'd worn her down somehow. Her excuses got old and he didn't give up, so why not? There was only her job to lose. Although she wasn't really convinced she would lose her job if the whole dating Tony thing didn't work out. He had been sued for sexual harassment enough times she could take him to court and get her job back if she needed to. Although that was just one big mess Pepper would rather stay away from.
No, the truth of the matter was that Pepper was starting to have feelings. Yes, actual feelings for Tony Stark despite herself. Sure, he was a big man-child who needed looking after more often than not, but he was fun to be around. He kept Pepper on her toes and he made her smile reluctantly more often than not these days. Okay, so it was going good.
"Yes. Something fruity," she shrugged. She didn't drink as much as Tony and didn't know as much about drinks as he probably did. "This place is really nice," she pointed out, taking a look around.
