Pansy was headed to her mother and father’s house to look for something she thought she left behind in the garage. She felt like she’d been hit by a truck, then rolled over with a steam roller. Somehow, miraculously, she was still on her feet. Though, she probably wouldn’t be for long.

She headed up to the front door, unlocked it, and let herself inside to cross through the house into the garage. She didn’t think her family would be home.

A dark-haired head lifted from the trunk of the car. Bellatrix's eyes flashed and she pointed her wand at Pansy, hissing sharply. "Who is it? Announce yourself, prat!"

Her hair was uncombed, and there were dark lines under her eyes. Her clothing was unkempt and her hand and wand were shaking.

Pansy jumped at the sound of the voice. She held her hands up as if someone was pointing a gun at her chest. “Pansy! It’s just... me... Auntie Bellatrix?”

"Oh." She dropped her hand, then slipped her wand into her waist band. One of the family members she liked. She stepped closer, walking casually. Speaking flippantly she asked. "How's school?"

Pansy’s heart was thundering. She had to take a moment to catch her breath. Actually, more than a moment. It took her a few to b able to breathe again, even then it was labored and difficult.

“...fine. Classes have been... postponed because of the... epidemic.” She managed to say, leaning against the car for support.

"Epidemic? That's what they're calling it now?" Bellatrix rolled her shoulders, looking Pansy over. She sighed, like this was a great inconvenience. "Hell, we need to get you to the hospital. Is Cissy all right?"

“No, I’m fine. I just need...” Pansy glanced around the garage, but now she couldn’t remember what she’d come in here for. “Oh, fuck, why am I here again?” She said aloud, frowning around the room.

"Anything I can help with?" As if she hadn't just been skulking around the garage. Bellatrix acted like she'd belonged there. Truth was she didn't quite remember how she'd gotten here. She'd apparated in. She supposed she really needed to be here. Perhaps to meet Pansy, some how. Pansy was family, one of the few she actually liked. She'd married her nephew in the dreams. Though that was unlikely here.

“Um... there’s a bunch of my shit over on these shelves. I don’t remember why I’m here. I think I was looking for something.” She said, moving to some shelves to try and figure it out. “I wanted to pick something up. What was it.”

“Do a finding spell,“ Bellatrix said, looking at her like she was stupid. “You’re sick. You should be laying down. I’ll take you home. The last thing you should be near is our family. Have you spoken to your grandfather lately?”

“How can I find it if I don’t know what it is?” Pansy asked, frowning. She was probably thinking of a summoning charm, rather than a finding spell. “...No, I... I really should.” She said, about talking to her grandfather. “Yeah... yeah, I should probably go home. Lay down.”

"No, you shouldn't. You should stay far away from that man. Never trust him." Bellatrix hissed. She took Pansy's arm. "Did you take the car? Walk here?" She wasn't sure if she'd heard anything before, but she had been distracted. "I can apparate you home."

“I... I drove.” Pansy said, a little confused. She really was mixed up in the brain today. She let Bellatrix take her arm and gave a little nod. “Okay.” She’d done side-along apparition in her dreams, so this shouldn’t be different. Or, much different, anyway. “I really should lay down. My brain’s not working right.”

"You're bloody sick," she muttered, and then the world twisted around them as they apparated. Instead of Pansy's home, or even where Bellatrix had been staying, they were in a pharmacy. "Lets get you a few things before we get you home, lovey."

It was almost like she cared.

Pansy gave a little nod. She almost yelped when she felt the twisting pressing in around her. They landed in the pharmacy, and Pansy felt more than a little queasy. She started coughing again, turning away from her aunt so she wouldn’t cough all over the older woman.

The Pharmacy was pretty much sold out. The last bit of cough and sinus medicine was in front of them, and Bellatrix grabbed at it just as a hand snatched it from the shelf. She turned, glaring at the woman, who was holding it sheepishly.

Bethany hadn't seen the woman come in, she'd turned then turned back and there they were. "Sorry, I was here first."

"Give me that, you prat." Bellatrix grabbed for the medicine.

Pansy shook her head, “Auntie Bellatrix, I don’t need it. Really.” Then she burst into a fit of coughs that would make a person with 50+ years of smoking under their belt pale.

Both women looked at her. Bethany started to cough too, and Bella snatched the medicine from her hand. “Ahah! She’s sicker.”

“You little..little..” Bethany started, but Bellatrix pointed her wand at her. “I need that too!”

“Uh uh, little girl. Why don’t you stay put while we check out.”

Pansy wasn’t in any state to argue. She simply turned to follow her aunt, teetering from side to side, as they paid for the over-the-counter cold medicine. Pansy wasn’t sure what good it would do, but she wasn’t about to argue.

Bethany stormed after them. "I'll pay you double!" Maybe it would do nothing or maybe it would at least help with the coughing.

Turning, Bellatrix flung a hex at Bethany, the movement lazy and half-assed. There was a flash of light as the hex hit a hastily raised wall of ice. Bellatrix straightened, curiosity and excitement flashing across her features. "What's this?!"

Pansy’s eyes went wide. She took a step back and drew her own wand--though it wouldn’t do her much good. She wasn’t nearly as trained as the others in her dreams, and she hadn’t done a whole lot of magic outside of what she’d shown to Katniss and Peter--for fear she’d be attacked again. Not to mention her head felt like it was filled with wet cotton balls. But now it was her only defense.

A lance of ice shot from the barrier. Bellatrix dodged to the side, a stream of blood following it's path from a cut on her cheek. Enraged, she flung another hex at the girl. Bethany slammed into a stack of cans. She grabbed one, charging it with arcane energy and threw it. Her lungs screamed in agony as she tried to summon a blizzard.

Pansy dodged to the side. She was moving quite a bit slower than either of the older women in the pharmacy. There were screams coming from behind the counter, and a cashier was already lifting a phone to call 911. Pansy lifted her wand and cast a shield charm in time to block the can that Bethany threw from coming toward her.

The phone was shot out of the cashier's hand by Bellatrix. The temperature in the store was dropping rapidly, ice covering the register and a wind whipping the Mage's hair around her, ice covering her like medieval armor. It gave her the appearance of something out of a legend.

An arc of fire cut through the chill, and Bellatrix pulled Pansy to the side. The girl was clearly useless with that cough. "Bugger this." She straightened, and flung her wand out, a burst of green light heading towards Bethany. Without bothering to note if the killing curse had hit, she apparated them away to her hotel room.

"Obviously, I need to teach you a few things, lovey."

Pansy was breathing hard again, coughing. She spat on the floor, keeling over and gasping for breath. “...what... was... that...?” She asked. None of her dreams had anything like that in them. Maybe Auntie Bellatrix was dreaming something different? She had some things to learn, obviously.

"Hexes and curses, for battle! I don't know what the hell that other woman was doing, never seen anything like that before. But I can teach you the good stuff." Bellatrix leaned in, eyes flashing dangerously. "The forbidden stuff."

Pansy was frowning. She felt like she was coughing up blood, even though she knew she wasn’t. Her damn lungs. If only she could live without them. “...okay.” She said, feeling weak and faint. Had that really just happened? She frowned darkly. “...I need to lay down.”

Bellatrix took Pansy and led her to the couch. “Here, let Auntie Bellatrix take care of you....It’s time we had a proper duelist in this House, besides me. We’ll get you all better...”
