"Right here," Loras promised. At least, for now he was staying right here. He wouldn't leave Renly alone, he knew that much. Against his better judgment, Loras pressed his lips to the corner of Renly's mouth, feeling the fever rolling off of him like an inferno. He squeezed his eyes shut, a few tears passing them as he did.
For now, Renly was forgiven. Later, it might be different, if there was a later. But for now, Loras could only love Renly and hope that he wouldn't fall asleep forever.
