Loras' shoulders hitched. The lump in his throat became a burn as he shoved back the intense urge to sob openly against Renly. The only thing that brought him any comfort was that Obi-Wan didn't know, and that maybe they'd find a cure.
What was he to say to Renly? That he might die, probably was going to die, and that it had been all Loras' best friend's doing? His stomach turned and he had to shift away from Renly for a moment, thinking he was going to be sick. When he wasn't, he turned back to Renly and shook his head.
"It doesn't matter anymore," he said, his voice only slightly unstable. "You're staying now, right?" he asked, more for himself than for Renly.
