It didn't take Oliver long to make it to the front door. Though he wasn't thinking of tonight as a date, he still didn't want to leave his guest sitting on the stoop.

Unlike yesterday, Oliver was dressed plainly. A casual button up, jeans and no shoes or socks. He was clean, for a shower had been necessary after yesterday's drinking, but he wasn't wearing cologne and his hair had been left to air dry. Today, Oliver did not offer to take Verity's jacket.
