Alright, well, it was apparent that not talking about it was making things worse. Somewhere in the back of his mind, eyes were rolling and the anecdotal experience screamed at him to know better than bottling it up never worked in the long term.
"You want to talk about what's gotten you so wound up?" he asked tentatively. He had dealt with enough outbursts from his kids to not be too fazed by it, though the reaction did catch him a little offguard.
"You don't have to. But I'm here and I'll listen if you want to." Ned could appreciate that, though it was the doctor's job to listen to others, they were human just like everyone else and they needed people to talk to too.
