"Yea? Well we'll have to see about that someday, I'm sure," he grinned while eating at his yogurt. He watched her a moment, and couldn't help but grin while he did so. He took another bite, while thinking a moment. There were things he wanted to talk to her about, bring up to her, discuss; however, he didn't want to scare her at all, and so he began to think maybe he should wait until that third date. A date, he figured, would be kind of that threshold to what they might be beyond it.
She got a glimpse of him, he got a glimpse of her, he figured that the third date would be all about them getting to know them as a couple, and that might mean defining what they were. In his mind, he already saw her as someone he wanted to be committed to, but he also knew that that didn't necessarily mean anything. They had to both come to that conclusion. He was taken by her and the fact it was happening so quickly rather scared him, but he liked it.
He then nodded at her comment about taking them to go, and grinned, "Yea. Let's go." He then took another bite before stepping out of the booth, and moving to hold the door open for her. As he watched her stepping closer, he waved towards her friend and then lead her to the car. He couldn't wait suddenly, for the third date. Because he wanted to see where this was going.
Oh he'd have to do everything in his power to make it remarkable.
"It's not too much of a drive from here, so hopefully nothing melts. Well yours won't, you'll be eating it. Here's hoping mine doesn't," not that he cared. He opened the door for her, letting her take her seat, before making his way into his side and starting the car up. He set his yogurt down on the center console, before pulling out and taking off towards his home now.
