Peter nudged her foot back, grinning at the feeling before laughing at her comment, "Alright, you're right. Pizza is Pizza. And we've invented a new meme: Doesn't Matter, had Pizza. And I can't help but notice we keep bringing sex up in all of our conversations; whether it's me talking about it during evolutionary ecology tutoring. Or you comparing it to pizza."
He didn't know where he was going with that, and suddenly felt a bit embarrassed for A) pointing it out, and B) even noticing it in the first place. Still, he kept his smile hoping she'd at least find the coincidence funny, and him not a pervert or something. Damn it Parker, learn to think before speaking. He was gracious when the pizza arrived for a bit of a change in subject.
Then with the beer, he poured himself a frosty glass as well and shook his head, "Alright, I won't pester you on the surprise, but this is already a perfect date. Beautiful, fun girl to talk to, and a wonderfully perfect meal. If I could choose my last meal, this would be close to it for me. Pizza and beer, nothing quite like it. And I can see why it's a glimpse of you: fun, relaxed, enjoyable, and warms the senses."
He grinned a bit, before digging into his pizza when the waiter left, taking a substantial bite and just grinning before swallowing, "Oh wow, now that's good. Very good. Just don't tell all of New York, please?"
Then looking to her, "And I love it... if this is a glimpse into you, this is definitely worth... uh... glimpsing."
