Peter had to be honest; he'd never been so damn nervous in his life. This time he didn't have any control over the style of the date, and while he was certain Pansy's would be ten times better than his was, because of how brilliant and amazing she was; it also meant he didn't have the ability to use the date to overshadow his own insecurities. This could be bad, this could be a casual, sit down setting, and suddenly she's looking at him like he's a moron, and realize just how weak he was. Oh god, what was he going to do if he couldn't distract her from him via the world around them?
He sighed, but realized all was going to have to be okay; he was going to be fine, she liked him, right? Right. Sure... Parker. Sure. Why not? Whatever, it was out of his hands and he had to just pray she would like him still.
The black Pontiac pulled to a stop in front of her home, and he grinned seeing her on the porch; and just seeing her, his stomach flipped, his heart beat hard. He felt a relief at just seeing her, knowing she was getting in this car with him; yet, he also felt almost more nervous seeing the beautiful, out of his league girl walking towards him. He was hoping his casual look was fine, a dark black solid t-shirt, and a red polo over that. A pair of jeans and tennis shoes capped it all off, and hopefully it was still nice enough so as not to be unimpressive. Could that be enough to make her lose interest?
Why was he freaking out so much? Because, the second date they could really start getting to know each other more, and that could mean she might learn just how nerdy he really truly was. He cleared his throat, and unlocked his door, stepping out to move around to open her door. Yes, he realized it was casual, but he was still going to be extra polite.
Smiling at her on her porch, he couldn't help but feel a bit more relaxation--she'd said yes to two dates. In fact, this one was her idea! It had to mean something, right?
