Obi-Wan is aging surprisingly well (obi1) wrote in valarlogs,
The door opened behind him and Obi-Wan felt the impulse to hide the fact that he had been playing Angry Birds. He felt rather silly, no matter how proud of himself he secretly was for being able to figure out how to use the Force. Within the confines of the game, of course.
He looked up at Margaery and smiled, scooting over so she had room to sit. He could use the actual Force to turn the iPhone screen blank without touching it -- but he'd already been caught, and when Obi-Wan grinned he looked a like a kid with his hand caught in the cookie jar.
"Killing time..." he said, slipping the phone into his pocket.
But Margaery either had very good timing or very bad timing, because it was just then that Loras's new car appeared at the corner and glided down the silent street. It was past midnight, after all; aside from the streetlamps and a few bulbs in the the house to his back, the Lotus's headlights where the only lights on the block.
Obi-Wan rose to his feet. Loras was holding the keys out in front of him. "What? You must be joking? Me? Drive that?"
