Who: Billy Horrible, Percy Weasley What: Meeting + showing off the apartment When: Wednesday 6pm-ish Where: Fullerton, Billy's apartment Rating: PG Status: Incomplete
It wasn't absolute necessity that Billy find a roommate, but it never hurt to save some money. The economy wasn't as bad off as some people might have thought -- everyone was willing to pay for something after all, and Billy was just pleased that people seemed to just hand it out when it came to entertainment. He wasn't doing poorly by any means, but that didn't mean he wouldn't like to save a bit up for some new technological toys.
Knowing he'd have people looking through his apartment the next few days, he'd taken some time to clean up a bit. The extra room (which he'd been using for a while now as a dumping ground for a lot of random miscellany) had been gutted completely in hopes of not scaring people off. Once the dishes were done, and the kitchen and bathroom had both been wiped down, Billy tackled what little mess there was in the living room -- mainly, there was an endless pile of mail on the coffee table, and more dust on the television than should have been allowed in any home. Hey, it wasn't his fault he never used the thing.
Satisfied with the job well done, he plopped himself down at his kitchen table and tooled around his laptop until his first appointment showed up.
And then he waited. And waited some more.
Glancing at the watch that he didn't have on his wrist, Billy rolled his eyes. His first appointment wasn't going to show up, it appeared. No matter. He had one more to go -- the 6 o'clock with Percy Weasley. Even from brief conversation with the man, Billy could be fairly certain that he'd show up, and probably even on time. Or fashionably early. Whatever that meant.
