Who: Ice & Fire, I mean Dany & Jon. What: Dany meets her new court-mandated councilor. When: Backdated to Monday Where: (?) Rating: R for talk about all of Dany's drama. Death, abuse etc. Trigger heavy. Status: In progress
Dany had been keeping to herself for the past month. She was on house arrest so she couldn't go out. She had the internet, but she found that she didn't really want to go online. She had completely shut herself down and cut herself off from everything and everyone. It was the only way she knew how to deal with what she did and what had happened. If she allowed herself to feel anything or be challenged by anyone then she knew she would break down. She was too afraid to let herself really feel. Feeling meant facing what had happened. And she wasn't sure she'd ever be able to come back from that.
She had her dragons to keep her busy anyway. The new house wasn't nearly as large as the last and she had workers checking in on her all the time so it was hard to keep them secret. The constant meat deliveries had raised a few eyebrows as well, but it was the only way she knew how to keep them fed. It was a whole challenge that Dany wasn't sure she was up to. She didn't know a thing about raising dragons, but she was their mother. She had to try. They were counting on her.
Monday morning was Dany's first court-mandated counseling session. It was also the first time she'd been out of the house since the court had placed her in the secondary home. She found herself extremely anxious about the whole situation. She wasn't sure what she was supposed to be doing in counseling. She didn't want to talk about what had happened or share her feelings. Plus, no one was at home watching the dragons and that was unsettling as well.
Dany sat in a chair in a room with a couple other people and some light music playing while she waited. She rubbed on the inside of her palms to try and keep her nerves in check. She could do this. She needed to do this. She'd never get off house arrest without convincing this person that she wasn't a loon.
