Who: Tahiri Veila and Jacen Solo What: Downdown meet up When: 7th of March 2012 - Late Night Where: Alley in a crummy part of town Rating: 15 for now, mentions of drugs and prostitution) Status: In Progress
Sometimes Tahiri wondered if she could ever have been more than she was, someone better, stronger, someone that didn’t always need to cling to other people for her help. Oh she’d lost track of her mother, her work mates, her friends. There was only Jacen now. Jacen Solo and his great plans to save the city from itself. And she knew he was right, she could see it when he talked to her, he believed it all so very completely and how could anyone not listen to him when he got like this. When he proved he was so much better than the city gave him credit for.
She’d walk into hell for him. And that wasn’t far off what he had her doing, she thought, climbing out of the gangsters car with a fifty and information worth a lot more than that to Jacen. He’d told Anakin as he’d bled out that he’d look after his girl. And he was, he was looking after her and this was just payback for her. He’d help her get clean again after. Get her life back. And maybe one day they could put all this behind them and know it had been worth it.
Fucking cops, they should throw him a parade.
She walked quickly but with purpose to the meeting spot, lighting a quick spliff she’d rolled earlier, laced with just a hint of cocaine. It would help her get through, it was just a little bit anyway. Between the coke and finally turning the corner to the alley where Jacen was waiting for her though she could have sworn her heart sped up just a little bit.
“Got what you wanted.” she told him, waiting for a word of praise, something anything. “Wasn’t easy but he gave it up. They all do in the end.”
