Anna and Peeta
It was nice to know that her general read on the strangers was correct. Yes, they were a bit odd and exuberant, but they weren't mean or anything and were kind of actually nice. In their own way. Peeta's hand was definitely a life line though at the moment.
And Kitty Cat was definitely very distracting.
"She's usually quite shy. It's okay, Kitty Cat, they're friends."
Friends. Anna could definitely go with friends. She liked friends. And not just because it was preferable to being married suddenly into the family. So instead she gave a small smile to the lion, who seemed to suddenly go backwards really fast as if scared away by something.
"Um is that normal?"
No reaction from the couple so Anna was going to take that as a yes. Noticing Lurch come out, she gave a small smile to him.
"Did you still need help to learn to dance?" And that was...definitely a non-enthusiastic groan. "Or not."
"You're really quite a dear. Come you two, sit. Lurch, could you set up a room for our guests while we figure out how to get them home."
"I wonder if that wonderful Mr. Hillard could help."
"I don't think he works in travel, Bubala"
"Querida!"
"Not now dear, we have company."
"Yes yes, well I suppose it can't be helped. Here," Watching as the man went to a desk and pulled out......a whole lot of money, Anna nearly choked on air. "Do you think this should cover their transportation costs?"
Shooting a look at Peeta, Anna was definitely speechless. They were just so cavalier and...definitely a lot. First it was a room then it was money for airfare and now...Okay. This was definitely overwhelming.
