“I- uh- I woke up in that classroom,” Adora admitted, but she hadn’t looked around to see if there was anything remotely helpful. She’d panicked and moved immediately to see if she could find someone else. At least one of them was armed, it was a small blessing.
She looked down the hall, which was still really, deeply dark. It was unsettling. “So... we need to be armed, vigilant and hope we don’t get stabbed repeatedly by a serial killer?”
