Eliot woke up from his latest dream, closing his eyes again almost immediately as he rolled on his side and draped his arm over his still sleeping boyfriend. Fen was pregnant in the Dreams and Fillory had added to its level of fucked up with the addition of talking rabbits. Well one rabbit - that gravelly voice saying the word pregnant over and over was going to haunt his Dreams from now on. He could almost hear it now that he was awake actually. Coming from the foot of the bed, saying that one word.
He opened his eyes, glancing down and groaned when he saw it actually sitting there. "You have got to be kidding me."
Feeling Eliot’s arm wrap around him caused Felix to stir slightly and had Eliot not spoken, he might have fallen back to sleep completely, but Eliot was so close that his voice was louder than it probably should have been, “What is it?” He asked, bringing a hand up to rub at his eyes as he turned a little towards Eliot.
Eliot felt a stab of guilt when he realized how loud he was talking and he lowered his voice a little as he sat up slightly. “Another gift from my Dreams.” He answered, just as the rabbit said ‘Pregnant’ again.
Frowning, Felix sat up as well, running a hand through his messy, black hair as his gaze landed on the rabbit at the foot of the bed, “A bloody rabbit?” When it registered that it was in fact the rabbit that had spoken, his eyes widened and he turned to stare at his boyfriend, “Well don’t look at me. I’m definitely not knocked up.”
Eliot gave a little laugh at that comment before sitting up the rest of the way and shaking his head. “I think it has to do with Fen. My Fillorian wife.” He said with a sigh. The rabbit said ‘Pregnant’ again and he groaned, fighting the urge to kick it off the bed. “In fact I know it does. He was there in the Dream I just had. How she told me I was going to be a dad.”
Felix’s brows rose slightly as he continued staring down at the rabbit a moment longer before he turned his attention to his boyfriend, “She used a rabbit? How did the rabbit know? And I thought you weren’t able to get it up for your wife.” He smirked, unable to keep from teasing Eliot a little bit. Personally, he thought it was pretty fucked up that Eliot had pretty much been forced to marry a woman just to fulfil some random prophecy or whatever the hell it had been.
“Fillorian magic rabbit. Creepy magic rabbit.” Eliot said, glaring at the thing at the foot of their bed. “I swear she picked the one with the creepiest voice she could find.” He looked at Felix at that comment. “Well when it’s the only person you can have sex with without immediately dying...you figure it out.” He said one brow raised. “And you know I have a very good imagination.”
“Very bloody creepy.” Felix said, eyeing the rabbit once again as it simply sat at the foot of their bed, watching them, “Well, it’s a good thing you don’t have to worry about dying when we shag.” He turned and smirked at Eliot, “So, what’re we going to do with it?” Felix hadn’t minded Gerald, but he wasn’t quite sure he could live with a rabbit that constantly declared that Eliot’s dream wife was pregnant.
Eliot lowered his head down to kiss Felix’ shoulder at that comment. “Be worth it if I did. But I’m glad I don’t.” He said as he lifted his head back up. “Oh I’m taking it to the Magic Guild. Get it a nice little rabbit hutch and put it in the library. Where it can harass everyone and we don’t get bothered by it.”
“I mean, it might be an okay way to go, but I wouldn’t want you to die that way.” Felix smirked as he leaned over and kissed Eliot’s cheek then slipped out of bed and grabbed his robe, “You’re gonna have to go by and make sure he gets fed. We don’t want a dead magical rabbit on our hands.” He tied the sash of his robe and headed towards the bedroom door, “I’m gonna start the coffee. You have fun with your new friend.” He teased, smirking as he left the bedroom.
