WHO: Humanity-less Elena and Klaus
WHAT A chance encounter
WHEN: Recently
WHERE: Lux
STATUS: In progress
RATING: Medium

Elena was having the time of her life. One humanity switch and a shopping spree later and she couldn’t remember ever having felt this good. She felt free and alive and sexy. For the first time she could do anything she wanted, no repercussions. No guilt trips. No perfect twin routine to get in the way.

Flipping her hair, Elena moved from the dance floor to the bar, ordering several shots of tequila. The first one went down with little trouble though she paused at the second one, someone’s gaze having caught her attention. Mouth widened in a satisfied smirk. Klaus MIkaelson.

“Didn’t think I’d see you here,” she called out over the music, sidling up to him, showing off her slinky dress to full advantage. It was true, though. She’d half expected him to be in his studio for half the night.

Klaus had had several late nights in his gallery but tonight he decided that he was going to pack up and leave at a half decent hour. He was also finding it difficult to concentrate has he recently had some new dreams and he kept finding himself pondering them and trying to make sense of them.

Not yet ready to go home, Klaus decided that he could use a drink. He had heard much about this Lux establishment but not yet had a chance to check it out so he made his way there. Once inside, he went to the bar and ordered a drink.

He heard a familiar voice approach him and he took a moment to look Elena and her dress over as he took a sip from his drink. "I decided that being all work and no play makes for a dull life." He gave a grin. "Enjoying yourself tonight?"

“I am,” she allowed. “But I think the fun’s really about to get started.” Smirk widened. “Dance with me?” Elena had more than a few moves she was ready to show off. And hopefully those moves would lead to more than just dancing.

Having her humanity turned off was incredibly freeing. For once Elena wasn’t worried about what people thought of her or caring about anyone’s general well-being. She was fully prepared to enjoy the night. Drinking anything and anyone she wanted, enjoying the music, and maybe enjoying some pleasurable company, too.

Klaus gave a devilish grin at Elena's answer. At her offer to dance, he downed the rest of his drink. "Why not." He answered, before standing and extending his hand to her.

Klaus knew that Elena's friends would do what they could to convince her to turn her humanity back on. They would not want her to live like this forever. It was not in Elena's personality. He'd even help try to convince her to to turn her humanity back on. However, Klaus knew how freeing it was to not care about what other people thought and to do what ever it was that you wanted to do.

He led her over to the dance floor. "What brought you out this evening, Elena? Are we celebrating something?"

“I just wanted to have fun,” she answered, arms sliding around his neck as she began moving with the music, hips moving against his. “Didn’t realize I needed to have a reason to go out dancing. Especially with someone I happen to find very attractive.”

Her body language was certainly doing a lot to communicate that beyond mere words. And if Elena got her way, maybe they wouldn’t be spending too much longer on the dance floor.
