Obi-Wan is aging surprisingly well (obi1) wrote in valarlogs,
Obi-Wan's face broke into a quite unadulterated smile. "I'm surprised I still have it," he said, quite happy he still did, though he knew it had been quite a while since he'd slipped into patter and geesa-. "It's been a long time since Glasgow. It's gotten a bit muddied up on the road here."
He paused a moment, long enough to dig eagerly into his pastry. He swallowed and took a sip of tea before continuing. He hated to to speak with his mouth full.
"Let's see... Glasgow, Bristol, Oxford... Boston, which I didn't care for, New York... and now, here. But you look like you left Great Brittan under better circumstances." At the very least it was quite plain that Doctor Smith's clearly oversized brain had something to do with it.
Obi-Wan still hadn't given his name, no longer to guard his meager identity, but because it had slipped his mind to do so. His head was fuzzy from the night in the rain. But by now he had decided that he liked Doctor Smith, even if he did wear bow ties.
