Raven hadn’t slept since she’d awoken the day before to the change in weather and news of the Earth Reapers showing up. Oh sure, they were explained away as oil riggings but she knew the truth. And she knew that stopping those would bring about the Paradooms. But it wasn’t like there had been any other option. She knew what was to come, she knew she somehow had survived and she knew she wouldn't stop fighting until either she was dead or this was worked out.

She just hoped it was the latter. She'd set up contact with the Magic Users to figure something out since it wasn't like Constantine was there, nor were there Boom Canons to be used. Not that she was convinced the plan would work but there were different resources here. And what happened in the Dreams didn't have to happen here.

Like Kory. Honestly if she could have stopped the other woman from fighting, she would have. She didn't want to see her torn apart again. Didn't want to fight her again. But Raven knew she couldn't do that and so instead she would take the back up offered. She'd been in a haze, fighting, getting people to safety, trying to fill people in on what was happening (she needed to thank Jemma when this was all over for the device that allowed her to reply to people all while she was fighting because it was connected to her head) and just trying to survive.

Which meant she also had lost track of time. She knew she had given Kory a location and so far it was on with a lot of Paradooms so she wasn't going to be leaving anytime soon. Too many people were there who needed to be protected. And she hadn't felt the death of Kory so she wasn't too worried. Just focused. At present she was in the air and blasting Paradooms with her kinetic energy. She just needed to keep them at bay so the people could get to safety.

What does a superpower designer where to save a town, she didn't know, so she went with all black and heels, she had to have her heels. She could whip up the hooker outfit from her dreams, but it was horrible and she would've never wear that. Also she didn't have her memories, hopefully that's why she was in that awful outfit.

Driving to Raven location wasn't going to happen, due to all the madness outside. She frowned as she stepped out, what kind of paranormal bullshit was this. Thankfully with control she lit herself up and started to fire out fire balls to the demonic bastards. It took her more than an hour to get to where Raven was, but she was there.

"Rachel," she called out as she shoot out both her arms, fire flew from both her arms, an orange hue radiate from her. She was in completely control, thanks to her training with Dick and Raven, also the bracelet helped.

It had never really been a question on what Raven would end up wearing. Mostly because, even though it was easy enough for her to fight in civilian clothing, this was something out of her Dreams and more the fighting style she had to use from them - thus one of the numerous uniforms she'd gathered over the years would suffice. Plus the cape made maneuvering easier oddly enough. Sometimes a danger in case it got caught but there was familiarity in it.

Still, the empath was busy blasting things when suddenly she felt a familiar presence there. Right. She could do this. She could keep Trigon at bay and also keep Kory from being torn apart like she'd been in the Dreams.

She did have to quirk a brow at being called Rachel though, only her grandfather called her that or teachers at the start of term when she'd been in school. But no matter. It was probably bleedover from the Dreams, assuming that was what she was going by in Kory's Dreams.

"Hey."

Noticing a Paradoom show up behind Kory, the twenty one year old quickly closed her eyes.

"Azarath Mentrion Zinthos!"

And the kinetic energy seemed to leap over Kory and behind her to the Paradoom that had tried to attack.

"Thanks," she called out as she spun, one hand was pointed at Paradoom that had tried to attack and the other pointed to the other side as solar flares shoot out from her arms. She wasn't sure what to make of these creatures, she hadn't seen them in her dreams, but she knew some about them, just a little. She had wished her ship has shown here, she was sure there was information on that.

Her eyes lingered on her bracelet, she could slip it off, try to pour more of her fire into the the creatures, but perhaps she would use that idea if things got worse. Swinging her body around, she shot her hands back out, pushing more fire upon the creatures.

There wasn't too much time to be able to waste on back and forth, so all the empath did was nod in response to the thanks. It wasn't like she was going to let Kory go unprotected. Not this time. She refused to fail as she, perhaps naively, believed she had in the Dreams. But there were a lot of complicated issues in those even without the Trigon issue.

Trigon who kept taunting her and saying she could be stronger if she just accepted him. Well, so far she was refusing to do that. The trick was keeping him locked away so she could focus on the fight and not lose control. The last thing Orange County needed was Trigon on loose in the midst of everything already going on.

With Kory focusing on using her star bolts, Raven continued with the kinetic energy and her SoulSelf. It allowed her easier control and well, portals meant she could vanish and appear behind a Paradoom trying to get her as she just did, blasting it from behind.

Kory found herself pushing more of her energy into every blast toward the Paradooms, she even was steadying a longer stream of fire toward ones the were getting closer to her. There was still a nagging in the back of her brain, she was missing something, she knew these things or of them.

Spinning on her heels, she sighed as her orange hue grew darker, pushing all she had into her blast. She wasn't sure how much longer she would last, this was the first time she was pressing her body to do this. However, people were hurt, some even died, and Kory cared, so these things had to die.

The trick of course was not pushing too hard or fast. Of not draining yourself. Because this might be a hotspot for them, but Raven knew there were others. So many others.

You know what you need to do. Accept me, daughter. I'll give you the strength you need.

"I'll never accept you!"

And also not the time for yet another outburst of arguing with Trigon around others. She was caught in the middle of a fight. Enough that it gave a Paradoom the option to send her flying, though the empath managed to catch herself, eyes flashing red as she shot it with both her SoulSelf and something more. Enough that it seemed to disintegrate along with a couple more in its path.

Shaking, Raven quickly got Trigon back under control. This was not the time for her to lose control. But with that done, she quickly turned her attention to the ones fighting Kory. Raven had no option but to keep fighting until this was over. This was her fault after all. Her Dreams come to life. She wouldn't rest until it was over or she was dead. Whichever came first.

Focusing, she entwined her SoulSelf with Kory's star bolts for more bang to the already impressive buck.

Kory had blinked at Raven's outburst, but now wasn't the time to even question what or who that was said to. As more energy poured out of her, it was draining her, it was making her come-alive.

She had been so unsure of this ability, even with training with Raven and hand to hand with Dick, Kory didn't think she could handle it, but now, she knew she could.

As soon Raven entwined her SoulSelf with Kory, she smirked as she slid off the bracelet and turned the bolts into a fire tornado and pushed it toward the Paradoom.

It was usually best to ignore the outbursts. She had tried to keep from being too obvious with the issues but as the months had gone on, it had become harder. Add in no sleep and stress from what was going on? Trigon was having an easier time of getting to her. But it was over and done with and there were bigger issues to worry about.

Seeing the smirk, Raven prepared. She had faith in Kory but she also knew that the focus was on the Paradoom and not surrounding buildings so she was ready to switch her aim if necessary.

But it wasn't, and the empath let herself breathe as it seemed the current Paradoom threat was dealt with as the last on went up in literal flames thanks to Kory.

At least in the area. She knew that there were more all over, different locations that she would need to get to. But this area at least was cleared and people were able to get to safety. She had a moment to breathe. Not like she would really let herself even do that for long. But it was important and so she would.

Kory cut off the streams, but an orange hue still danced on her skin as she looked around to see if anyone needed help or, she wasn't even sure. She hadn't done the hero thing before, so all of this was new to her, but her power was activated and she was ready for more.

Her eyes looked up as she turned around to spoke, "where too now?" she asked Raven, but than Kory quickly bent down to pick up the bracelet and slipped in her pocket for safe keeping.

Following Kory's gaze, Raven noted that it seemed those who had been there had made a hasty retreat while the two had dealt with the Paradooms. Smart move, though hopefully not a futile one. But it wasn't like there was much she could do. There were still so many Paradooms to deal with. Seemingly an endless stream of them all over the county.

Closing her eyes and focusing, Raven felt a wall of fear. Which meant people. Opening her eyes, the empath looked to her friend.

"Two cities over. Lots of fear... if you're still up to fighting, I won't say no to the help."

Thank goodness for portals, even if they were draining on her at this point.

Kory looked over at her, she nodded her head, she wasn't going to let Raven fight them alone, not if she can help and she can do she was totally in. "I got your back," she told with a nod of her head, she inhaled deeply and than smirked at her.

"Lets go," she told her with a nod of her head and flipped her hair, "show these Paradooms that they have appeared in the the wrong county."

As worried as she was, Raven had to admit that it was nice having someone fighting along side of her. Someone she was familiar with. Oh she'd Dreamt of many versions of Kory and it was never going to be exact but it was familiar and reassuring in its own way. And that was something she hadn't really known she'd needed until now.

Not like there was time to think about it right then.

So instead she gave a nod and opened a portal.

"After you."

She would deal with the ramifications of pushing herself too hard once this was all done. Right now it was taking it one step at a time.
