Raven knew that things were getting worse. She should have gone to Natasha about Trigon when she'd started arguing with him. Or more to the point, when she had Dreamt of him getting too strong and her telling Constantine to kill her because clearly it was that and kill Trigon or risk him coming out. And yet? The empath hadn't done that. She forced herself to believe that this wasn't the end. It couldn't be. And then she'd Dreamt of what had happened. Constantine saying Trigon could go into him and instead her father going into Clark and being knocked to the side. There was so much wrong with that and when she'd woken up? Raven had been on edge.
"Leave me alone..."
The comment was muttered to no one in the room. Just her and Trigon in her head. It was getting worse. But still she had to believe she would get through this. She'd been through five sets of Dreams. There were so many times where she thought she should be dead and it somehow worked out. This had to be like that as well. Right?
Right?
Forcing herself up, Raven got dressed and headed to work. It was hard to do her research though when half the time Trigon was demanding her attention, telling her it would be so easy to give in. If she let him go, gave into him, she wouldn't be sick anymore. But she couldn't unleash that on the Earth. She would sooner die.
Eventually though it was lunchtime and with everything going on, the twenty one year old had forgotten to bring her own lunch. Which meant braving people and finding somewhere to near work to get something to eat. It was fine. She could handle this. At least that was the hope. Walking along the sidewalk, Raven found herself jostled between people, which was making things worse in the keeping Trigon at bay department. Hand pressed against her temple as if the pressure would do anything, Raven muttered under her breath.
"Shut up, leave me alone..."
Of course because she was more focused on keeping Trigon at bay and not getting jostled, Raven wasn't as aware of her surroundings as she usually was, which meant she ended up running into someone even though she'd been trying to avoid that very thing.
