It was a crisp autumn day, for although the sun was brightly shining, there was a slight chill to the air. Percy opted to wear a light jacket, which he now kept slung over the back of his chair as he sat at a table near the entrance. With his laptop open, he played a game of solitaire. Periodically, he glanced up to peer through the pane glass window to look for the brunette whom he'd never met before in person.
Walk through walls she said. Percy scoffed as he remembered what she'd written to him. She had proof. He shook his head and smiled to himself in a condescending sort of way. What kind of proof could she have? The lady was out of her mind, no doubt. He didn't even know why he'd agree to come.
Perhaps, in an unexplored region of his mind, he wanted to put to rest, once and for all, these foolish statements he'd been reading about these dreams and how they were manifesting into reality. Frankly, it was becoming irritating. Such ridiculous things didn't fit into Percy's well structured world.
