Hayley had been very quiet since they left the restaurant, she wasn't even sure what to say. As they sat on the stool, she reached around, unclasp her hair to let it fall on her shoulders as she gathered her thoughts putting the hair clip in her clutch as he ordered their drinks. She knew the dinner would be rough, she had dream of his parents in her dreams, they weren't nice people in them. It was very clear the dreams were right about them.
When he apologized for them, she sighed, her hand moved over to his, "Don't." she said softly offering a small smile, "don't apologize for them, just because they think lowly of me, doesn't meant I think that way of myself. I own a successful business, well traveled, and I might not fit in to their profile for what they want for you, but I do love you, no matter what they think."
