"I'll have that then." He had the feeling something wasn't quite normal, but what it was he couldn't say. He chalked it up to the fact no one else was around. Rare, to have private dining in a diner. Or any restaurant really.
He didn't mind it. It was nice, actually. He appreciated the quiet, because once he went in to work, his night would be anything but quiet.
