Wiping his eyes clear, Izuku smiled through his still watery gaze. "I'm not upset; I'm happy! Really, I am. I like when my friends are happy, and, well...it's just so...so....nice!" He sniffled again, and when Denki wrapped his arm around him, Midoriya startled for a moment, almost panicking, but he relaxed into the touch. He didn't know if he wanted this, but...it was nice.
Many people wouldn't know it, but Midoriya was someone who liked to be around people. Oh, he was totally fine when he was alone. He could be alone for days without even caring about the situation. But, he was also a social person, so being deprived of physical contact for a while now was something that caught him off guard. Actually, come to think on it, the last time that he had been close to a person had been when Bakugo had gone with him to purchase a laptop.
"I..." Midoriya paused, turning into the warmth for a moment just to catch his breath. Now that the panic had passed and Bakugo was gone, Izuku let out a tired yawn, rubbing his sleepy eyes as he realized he was actually tired. "Maybe after a nap? I don't even know what time it is. I haven't slept in...a while." He looked down, fumbled for his watch, then blinked. Four in the morning. Huh. Well, that explained why it was dark outside. "Ooops. I don't think it's time to make omelettes at four in the morning," he amended, sheepishly.
